Senior Physiotherapist Woody joins the team

Altius Healthcare is excited to announce the recruitment of senior physiotherapist Woody Al-Zidgali. Following a undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science with first class honours, Woody spent time working in the field of strength and conditioning before undertaking a Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2012. Since graduating, Woody has worked full time in professional sport, including lead positions in Super League rugby. Woody regularly rehabilitates and conditions professional athletes and world champions from sports including MMA, football, rugby, muay thai, motorsports, basketball, taekwondo, sprinting, triathlon, squash.

 

In 2017 Woody enrolled in and completed a Masters in Sport and Exercise Medicine with distinction. During this time, he added the practice of injection therapy to his skillset. He will be providing this service, alongside other specialties such as acupuncture, shockwave therapy, and manual therapy at all Altius clinics.

 

Given his background in strength and conditioning, Woody’s main passion lies in making individuals perform better and feel stronger. Whether you are looking to improve your general level of fitness, sport specific fitness, or to return from injury, Woody will have you working towards your goals in our specialist gym, in a safe and effective manner.

 

Woody will be working on Mondays and Wednesdays across our Altius Hale and Manchester Institute of Health and Performance clinics. Whether you are looking to return from injury to elite sport, or develop your fitness for your chosen activity, Woody will have you moving and performing to the best of your ability.
