  • Think fresh and colourful when it comes to your food. Eating the rainbow and getting 5 fruits and or veg in each day is important for our immune system and functioning of cells

  • Focus on fibre. Fibre is the base of all good gut health principles

  • Drink enough water. Your body cannot function when dehydrated

  • Move daily. This can be formal exercise or stretching. Do what feels good for you

  • Sleep enough. Hours of sleep are like pounds in a bank, the more you have the better you feel

  • Prioritize mental health and stress management. Poor mental health and high stress levels affect hormone balances in the body and slows the production of happy hormones from the gut.

  • Ditch the sugar. Sugar causes inflammation and inflammation causes disease, it’s that simple

  • Find your tribe and laugh with them. Laughter is the best medicine
