Hale Clinic Launch

Hale wellness hub launched by local physio family

A new family-run wellness and physiotherapy centre has opened on Park Road in Hale to offer a wide range of therapies including physiotherapy, rehabilitation, massage, Pilates and yoga under one roof.

Local physiotherapists Anna Jones and her husband Doug, whose Altius Healthcare practice has operated in Hale for the last three years, have launched their new healthcare clinic alongside a team of fellow healthcare specialists.

The Park Road-based centre houses a purpose-built rehabilitation gym and treatment rooms, as well as a pilates studio operated by Sarah Gallimore at Hale Pilates, with whom Altius works in close partnership.

“It’s been a dream of ours for a long time to create a space where we can give our patients a complete and rounded package of care that fit their exact needs,” says Anna, who grew up in Dunham Massey and went to school in Hale.

“Our practice is all about keeping people fit and active and supporting people to look after their own health and wellbeing with the right advice, education and therapies.

“In Hale, we’ve brought together a community of experienced health and fitness professionals who share the same ethos of patient-led care, working closely together under one roof to deliver the ideal combination treatments for our patients. There isn’t another space like this with access to the same expertise and facilities anywhere else in this area, and that’s really exciting.

“We treat people from all walks of life, from marathon runners who want to maintain good physical health to post-op patients who need intensive rehabilitation, right through to elderly people who want to continue an active lifestyle, and everyone in between.
